As a lifelong artist, MPTrue is always looking for the next opportunity to translate their everyday experiences into artistic expressions. 
My name is MPTrue and I was born in Sardinia, Italy where in my early years I opened a Studio/ shop to produce and sell on trend fashion and costume jewellery and accessories.
My first experiences as an artist was when I moved to the USA and I started to appreciate paint, colours and shape.I have always found it very interesting to use recycled unloved materials and give them a second chance for someone to enjoy.My influences were from Pop Art  to Neo Expressionism and Abstract Art and of course, from street and poor art. 
It was here that I realized that I wanted to pursue my career in this field. I believe that being an Artist is something that one is born to do and not learned at school. I went on to study through practical experience, learning through trial and error and self learning studying the works of Basquiat, Warhol, Burri, Rothko, Picasso.It was here that I further expanded my knowledge in Modern Art and different techniques and where I started to play with different materials and pigments. I work primarily in London and Thailand (Koh Samui) now and I currently work from my private studio.
